Abstract

Enough research has been done in multicultural education so that guidelines can be developed to guide curriculum development at both the local and provincial levels. Six guidelines are presented for consideration. Questions arising from the guidelines are posed as examples of how classroom teachers, supervisory personnel or curriculum developers might assess current efforts within their jurisdiction.
